From Chasing Ambulances to Chasing How to Find Hit and Run Driver Tips: What’s the Deal with Oberg’s Expansion?

Okay, folks. Let’s talk about this Oberg Injury Law thing in Mesquite. They’re expanding. Whoopee. More lawyers. Just what we needed, right? Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying it’s all bad. Hell, maybe it’s even good news. But let’s be real for a second. First off, they’re talking about “broadening their expertise.” What does that even mean? Are they gonna start chasing down hit-and-run drivers themselves? I’d pay to see that. And all this talk about “new resources and technologies.” What, did they finally figure out how to use Google? I swear, some of these lawyers act like they invented the internet every time they get a new iPad.

Do We Really Need More Lawyers?

Here’s the thing. Mesquite ain’t New York City. We’re not exactly tripping over lawyers on every street corner. So maybe, just maybe, this expansion isn’t the worst thing ever. But let’s not kid ourselves. This isn’t some noble crusade to bring justice to the masses. It’s business. Plain and simple. And speaking of business, you know what really grinds my gears? All these out-of-town lawyers thinking they know our town. Like that i accident lawyer in East Hartford CT. What the hell do they know about Texas? About as much as I know about lobster rolls, I’d wager.

It’s Not All Ambulance Chasing

Look, I’ll give Oberg this much. At least they’re trying to cover more bases. It’s not just car accidents anymore. They’re getting into all sorts of weird stuff. Like, did you know some people are out there asking if is a stroke considered a disability? Or if is Tarlov cyst a disability? I didn’t even know what a Tarlov cyst was until I looked it up. Still not sure I understand it, to be honest. And hey, at least we’re not Laredo. I hear they’ve got so many injury law firms in Laredo TX, they’re practically giving away free toasters with every consultation. Bottom line? I don’t know if Oberg’s expansion is gonna change our lives or just give us more billboards to look at on the highway. But I guess if you’re gonna get hurt, at least now you’ve got options. Just don’t expect me to start singing kumbaya about lawyers anytime soon. I’ve still got my healthy skepticism, thank you very much. But hey, if they can actually help people, more power to ’em. Just keep the ambulance sirens down, will ya? Some of us are trying to sleep around here.
