The rubber-lined butterfly valve is a type of valve that can use for isolating or regulating flow.  It is the disc that sits in the center of the valve body that closes the valve.  The disc is connect to the handle or actuator through a shaft that passes through the top of the valve body.  In contrast to a ball valve, the butterfly valve disc is always present in the flow, resulting in a pressure drop.  Butterfly valves can shut off quickly. But they require less support than a heavier ball valve due to their lighter weight.

Overview

The Butterfly valves with rubber lining operate with a quarter-turn design. This means that rotating the closed disc 90° will fully open the valve, and vice versa. Butterfly valves can also open incrementally to throttle flow. When use in conjunction with an actuator, throttling can be done manually, but it is more precise.  Pneumatic and hydraulic actuators can modify to allow incremental flow by using positioners, while electric actuators can modify by using modulating boards.

Our rubber-lined butterfly valves provide a lightweight, low-cost, heavy-duty, and maintenance-free solution to high-pressure applications.  Applications for butterfly valves include utilities, pulp and paper, oil and gas production, fuel handling systems, marine, petrochemical processing, air conditioning, and refrigeration.  The rubber-lined butterfly valve we offer is also available in a variety of sizes and styles, including lug-style bodies and wafer-style bodies. These valves can also provide dead-end service when necessary.

Depending on their design, rubber-lined butterfly valves are either lug-style or wafer-style. Additionally, resilient seated butterfly valves are available in a variety of seat materials to meet the requirements of many process applications, including Buna-N, EPDM, Viton, and Teflon. As well as FDA-approved materials. Rubber-lined butterfly valves have lower pressure ratings than concentric, high performance, and triple offset butterfly valves which offer incrementally higher pressure ratings, which is require for an ANSI rating. An operator has the option of controlling any process media flowing through the control loop with the appropriate valve. And our butterfly valve is an excellent valve that provides precision control and a bubble-tight seal.
