What are the documents required for network licenses?

The following documents are required to acquire the network licenses in India:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation: The applicant must provide a certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation
  2. Applicant’s ID proof:  Present your ID proof to the Department of Telecommunication
  3. RF test report of the telecom product: Provide the Radio-Frequency emission report of the telecommunication device you use to provide your services.
  4. Qualification Details of the applicant: The applicant must qualify to operate the networked telecom device.
  5. Product Specification: The applicant must provide an information sheet that contains information about the technical aspects of the product.

What is the process to obtain a Network license in India?

After the applicant has procured the necessary documents, they must apply for the network license online via the WPC portal. The process is as follows:

  1. The applicant must first get the devices tested at a NABL accredited laboratory.
  2. Afterwards, they must furnish the documents and get them certified by a Chartered Accountant.
  3. The applicant must then apply online via the WPC portal.
  4. After application filing, the applicant must submit the physical copies of the document to the WPC branch office in their region.
  5. The Branch will then assess the application form, analyze the docs, and test the wireless product.
