canada pr

Canada has a name for being an immigrant-friendly nation. The country not only welcomes immigrants from all over the globe but also offers them the same basic services and amenities as Canadian citizens. To welcome and attract young skilled employees and professionals, the Canadian government has established and defined simple immigration laws, guidelines, and documentation processes.

If you’re seeking or considering applying for permanent residence in Canada, Congratulations!  The decision is significant. The process of qualifying for permanent residence in Canada is tedious enough, but finding the ideal province to settle in is much more challenging. The provinces of Canada with the best possibilities for PR are listed below:

Alberta

One of the main reasons for the relative ease of applying for Canada PR in Alberta is the lack of a particular job or occupation list. It shows that qualified candidates and young professionals from various backgrounds are eligible to qualify for the Alberta nominee program. The AINP’s Express Entry aligned Stream accepts candidates with CRS scores as low as 300. Express Entry draw

If you apply in the Alberta-Express Entry Stream and receive a provincial nomination, you will be entitled to an additional 600 CRS points in Express Entry, which will assist you in receiving a Canada PR invitation via IRCC. If your CRS point score is low, you can still apply for permanent residency in Canada through the Alberta PNP for the year.

Saskatchewan

Unlike other provinces, Saskatchewan allocates an additional CRS score to candidates who have a family member or cousin living in Saskatchewan, whereas other states and territories only provide CRS scores if blood relations are present.

This PNP is based in the Canadian Saskatchewan province. The SINP is divided into two categories:

  • Occupation in Demand (OID) subcategory and,
  • Express Entry Subcategory (need express entry account to apply)

The Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream is for individuals who do not meet the express entry requirements and work on an Expression of Interest (EOI) basis. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience are more likely to be nominated by SINP.

The International Skilled Worker PNP in Saskatchewan is aimed to introduce individuals with experience in high-demand occupations to the province. Candidates must have at least a year of experience in one of the professions on Saskatchewan’s In-Demand Occupational categories List to be considered. Immigration Consultant in India

Ontario

Ontario is considered the province of the “Information and Technology Industries.” The OINP(Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) is located in Ontario, a major Canadian province.

Previously, a CRS score of 400 or higher was required for OINP. The minimal CRS score requirements were waived by Ontario’s provincial government in 2018. As a result, there is no longer a minimum requirement of 400 CRS scores for OINP; instead, the program director will decide the Cut off Marks prior to each OINP draw. Ontario examines all Express Entry profiles and invites selected candidates to apply to the PNP.

Quebec

If you know French, the Quebec Nominee Program can help you become an eligible applicant for permanent residence in Canada. Applicants who are fluent in French have a better chance of acquiring a PR in Quebec than those who are simply fluent in English.
